What You’ll Do as a Graduate Humanities Academic Mentor
As a Graduate Humanities Academic Mentor, you will play a central role in enhancing students' academic journeys. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering targeted 1:1 and small group academic mentoring in subjects such as History, Geography, and Philosophy.
- Supporting lesson delivery and curriculum planning alongside experienced Humanities teachers.
- Helping students strengthen their essay writing, critical thinking, and exam preparation techniques.
- Tracking student progress and contributing to personalised learning strategies.
- Creating a positive, inclusive learning environment where curiosity and confidence can thrive.
What We’re Looking For - Graduate Humanities Academic Mentor
We're seeking a thoughtful and driven individual with:
- A degree in a Humanities subject (History, Geography, Philosophy, Politics, etc.) from a top university.
- A genuine passion for education and a desire to inspire young minds.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, resilience, and adaptability in a fast-paced school environment.
- Experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is highly desirable but not essential.
