We are seeking an enthusiastic MFL Teacher to join two vibrant and inclusive secondary schools in Birmingham from September 2025. This opportunity is open to both Early Career Teachers and experienced practitioners looking for a dynamic and rewarding teaching environment.

MFL Teacher - The Opportunity

• Role: MFL Teacher (French & Spanish)
• Start Date: September 2025
• Contract: Fixed-term maternity cover MFL Teacher rolewith a strong possibility of a permanent role within the trust
• Working Pattern: 0.8 FTE (part-time) or full-time considered
• Location: Two well-connected schools in the Birmingham area
• Suitable For: ECTs and experienced teachers

MFL Teacher - Your Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging French and Spanish lessons at KS3 and KS4
• Foster a love of languages and cultural curiosity in students
• Adapt teaching to support a range of abilities and learning needs
• Track student progress and provide high-quality feedback
• Contribute to curriculum development and cross-school collaboration
• Build positive relationships with students, staff, and families

MFL Teacher - What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A relevant degree in MFL or a related discipline
• Confidence in teaching both French and Spanish
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• A proactive, flexible mindset and willingness to travel between sites
• A commitment to inclusive education and continuous improvement
• ECTs encouraged to apply – full induction and mentoring provided
