What you will do:
- Oversee the management and supervision of the UASC team to ensure high-quality support and services for unaccompanied asylum-seeking children.
- Lead case management and ensure statutory responsibilities are met in line with local policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement plans for each child, supporting their needs as they transition and integrate into the community.
- Collaborate effectively with partner agencies, fostering relationships that promote the welfare of the children.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, enhancing team performance and professional development.
- Improve service delivery by monitoring outcomes and implementing innovative solutions.
We are seeking a driven and resourceful leader who is registered with Social Work England. Ideal candidates will have management experience, particularly in supporting unaccompanied children as children in care. Your ability to effectively manage and inspire a team will be crucial to the success of this role.
