About the Role:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will join the department most aligned with your degree subject – whether that be English, Maths, Science, Humanities, or Languages. You will support both GCSE and A-Level pupils through tailored intervention work, small group sessions, and one-to-one academic mentoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support classroom learning across your specialist subject
- Lead focused intervention sessions to challenge and inspire high-achieving students
- Assist in lesson planning, resource preparation, and assessment
- Gain first-hand experience of the teaching profession in a highly supportive environment
Candidate Profile:
- A 2:1 or above from Oxbridge or a Russell Group university
- Passionate about education and committed to student success
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior tutoring or classroom experience is beneficial but not essential
- A desire to pursue a career in teaching
