About the Role

As a Maths Academic Mentor, you will work closely with students and experienced teaching staff to drive progress, build confidence, and support academic achievement in Maths.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering one-to-one and small group intervention sessions
• Supporting classroom learning and lesson delivery
• Leading focused sessions for students aiming for top grades or needing additional support
• Helping students develop exam techniques and mathematical reasoning
• Gaining valuable classroom experience ideal for a future in teaching or teacher training (e.g. PGCE or SCITT)

What We’re Looking For

• A Mathematics or STEM degree (2:1 or above) from a top university
• A strong academic background and excellent communication skills
• A genuine passion for mentoring and education
• A positive, professional, and proactive attitude
• A desire to make a meaningful difference in students’ academic outcomes
