• Maintain accurate and timely records using electronic case management systems.

• Manage a demanding workload effectively, using supervision and performance feedback constructively.

• Make sound, evidence-based decisions and prepare clear reports as necessary.

• Promote collaboration with other council departments and health professionals.

• Identify and respond to high-risk situations, ensuring prompt escalation to line managers.

• Keep up to date with relevant legislation and local policy to maintain best practice.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

• Qualified social worker registered with Social Work England.

• Experience in adult social care, including safeguarding, care planning, and mental capacity assessments.

• Strong understanding of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and personalisation in adult social care.

• Excellent communication, report-writing, and case management skills.
