What you will do:
- Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary family support team, ensuring the delivery of effective, compassionate care.
- Manage the daily operations, juggling caseloads efficiently to achieve targeted outcomes.
- Craft and implement service plans that align with organisational policies and statutory duties.
- Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote the welfare of both children and families.
- Provide guidance and development opportunities for your team through regular supervision and training.
- Collaborate with external agencies and partners to coordinate comprehensive support services.
- Monitor and report on performance metrics, service quality, and outcomes to senior leadership.
- Optimise resource and budget management to maximise the impact of services provided.
Person Specification:
- Demonstrable experience in managing family support or social care teams.
- A thorough understanding of UK child protection, safeguarding, and family support frameworks.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and people skills. Resilience under pressure with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Relevant qualifications in social work, health and social care, or a related discipline are advantageous.
