What you will do:

- Become an integral part of the team, contributing actively alongside an advanced practitioner and five other social workers.
- Participate in a duty cycle, managing work as it arrives during our dedicated duty week.
- Take charge of documenting and contributing to Strategy Discussions and Child in Need (CIN) meetings/plans.
- Undertake Section 47 enquiries, perform single assessments, conduct risk evaluations, and carry out direct work with children to gain a clear understanding of their lived experiences.
- Develop and manage intervention plans with families, tailored to address their specific needs.
- Present cases at child protection conferences and legal gateways when necessary.
- Engage in supervision sessions to review and develop case strategies.
- Create and implement safety and contingency planning with families to mitigate risks of children being accommodated.
