What you will do:

- Receive and screen referrals about children at risk of harm, using thresholds and multi-agency information to ensure the best outcomes for children.
- Analyse information from key partner agencies, such as police, health, and education, to assess risk levels and determine the appropriate response.
- Make informed decisions regarding whether cases meet statutory thresholds for social care intervention or if alternative early help pathways are required.
- Collaborate closely with professionals from other services including health, education, police, and probation to provide a multi-faceted approach to safeguarding.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely case records on the local authority’s case management system, ensuring compliance and transparency.
- Contribute to strategy discussions and safeguarding planning as needed, providing expertise and insight.
- Provide professional advice and guidance to referrers, ensuring they understand outcomes and decisions thoroughly.
