A progressive and nurturing primary school in the Burntwood area is seeking a compassionate and motivated Psychology graduate to join their SEN support team as a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant. Whether you're ready to start right away or prefer a September start, this full-time role offers invaluable, hands-on experience ideal for those pursuing a career in education, psychology, or therapeutic fields.
What You’ll Gain:

Full-time, term-time role (Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM)

Earn up to £520 per week

Work 1:1 and in small groups with children with a range of needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and social-emotional challenges

Support the implementation of personalised learning plans and behaviour strategies

Collaborate with professionals including educational psychologists, speech and language therapists, and occupational therapists

Gain experience highly relevant for postgraduate courses or professional training
Who We’re Looking For:

A Psychology graduate (2:1 or above) with a strong interest in SEN and child development

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-
Calm, patient, and empathetic, with a proactive and adaptable approach

Experience in tutoring, SEN settings, mentoring, or care roles is highly desirable
