Production Manager in Runcorn, North West

Job Title: Production Manager
Location: Runcorn, UK
Hours: Full-time | On-site | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Employment Type: Permanent

Salary: £45k-£50k DOE

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to lead and oversee our client’s production team based in Runcorn. This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, upholding health and safety standards and achieving key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and develop the production team to ensure strong performance, engagement and product integrity
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment
• Monitor production throughput and consistently meet set KPIs and output targets
• Optimise machinery efficiency to maximise productivity and minimise downtime and waste
• Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures to maintain operational consistency and product quality
• Analyse production data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost reductions
• Work collaboratively with the Maintenance and Engineering teams to ensure equipment operates at peak performance
• Manage production schedules to ensure timely fulfilment of customer orders
• Provide regular performance updates and reports to senior management

• Demonstrable experience in a Production Manager role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive, solution-focused mindset
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills to support informed decision-making
• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, target-driven setting
• Proficiency in using production planning and management software
• Exceptional communication and organisational skills
