What you will do:

• Lead the promotion of safe transfusion practices within the health service and serve as an integral member of the Blood Transfusion Committee.
• Work as part of the Transfusion and Haematology laboratory team, contributing expert advice and support.
• Coordinate the assessment and development of care programmes for patients with complex needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients, service users, and their support networks to build strong therapeutic relationships.
• Manage and lead a team, ensuring staff uphold professional standards and the highest level of care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audit activities to enhance patient safety.
• Engage in policy and service development, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive innovation and improve processes.
