What you will do:
- Ensure high professional standards in assessing and delivering services to service users and carers, aligned with the Care Act and ‘Putting People First’.
- Collaborate with the Team Manager to implement social work processes within a multiagency framework, promoting effective decision-making and integrated service delivery.
- Provide expert advice, make professional decisions, and offer guidance on complex practice and organisational risk under the leadership of the team manager.
- Utilise supervision for enhanced practice, reflection, and career development to achieve Professional Development Reviews objectives.
Main Accountabilities:
- To ensure professional standards in the assessment and provision of services for service users and carers, delivering outcomes that are in line with best practice and values of the Department as expressed within the Care Act and ‘Putting People First’, promoting autonomy, independence, choice, and wellbeing.
- In conjunction with the Team Manager, ensure that social work processes and accountabilities are in place within a multiagency framework to promote effective decision-making and integrated service delivery.
- To make professional decisions and provide high-level advice to team members, involving complex practice and organisational risk, under the line management of the team leader.
- Make proactive use of supervision to extend effective practice, reflection and career development, and to meet the objectives of the Professional Development Reviews.
