Join us in an exciting opportunity as a Band 6 CAMHS(Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) Practitioner within Nurse in Wakefield, earning £26 hourly. This ongoing role offers flexibility with full-time and part-time options available. You can benefit from an adaptable schedule—9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with flexibility around start and finish times such as 8am to 6pm for four days a week.

What you will do:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and young people presenting with a range of mental health difficulties. You will include risk assessments and create diagnostic formulations to tailor the intervention plans.
- Deliver evidence-based individual and group therapeutic interventions such as CBT, DBT-informed approaches, and systemic/family-based therapies.
- Act as care coordinator for a defined caseload, ensuring effective planning, implementation, and review of care under the Care Programme Approach or equivalent pathways.
- Identify and address safeguarding issues, manage clinical risk, and contribute to multi-agency risk management plans.
- Liaise and collaborate with professionals from education, social care, paediatrics, and voluntary sector services to ensure integrated and holistic care for service users.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and legally sound clinical records and documentation using electronic patient record systems.
- Participate in clinical supervision and reflective practice, while supporting the development and supervision of junior staff and students.
- Contribute to service audits, evaluation, and improvement initiatives aligned with local and national CAMHS transformation goals.
