We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated MFL teacher to join two supportive secondary schools in the Dudley area from September 2025. The position involves teaching across two nearby schools and is suitable for both ECTs and experienced teachers.

Position Overview

Role: MFL Teacher – French & Spanish
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Fixed-term (initially covering maternity leave, with strong potential for a permanent role within the trust)
Hours: Part-time (0.8 FTE) or full-time considered
Location: Two secondary schools in close proximity, Dudley
Open To: Early Career Teachers and experienced MFL teachers

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging French and Spanish lessons at KS3 and KS4

• Inspire students to develop a love of languages and cultural understanding

• Plan inclusive and differentiated lessons for diverse learning needs

• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

• Contribute to a positive and respectful classroom culture

• Collaborate with staff across both schools on curriculum delivery

• Build supportive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

Who We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Degree in Modern Foreign Languages, Education, or a related field

• Proficiency in teaching both French and Spanish

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

• Flexible, motivated, and open to working across two school sites

• Genuine enthusiasm for language education and student achievement

• ECTs encouraged to apply – full support provided
