This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to join the Assessment and Intervention Team in West Sussex. In this full-time locum position, you'll earn £38.00 hourly and play a crucial role in child protection and family assessment. What you will do:

• Conduct high-quality assessments, care planning, and child protection investigations to promote the safety and welfare of children and young people
• Assess need and risk for vulnerable children and families, striving to prevent family separation whenever possible
• Collaborate with multi-agency partners to ensure a holistic approach to each case
• Engage in direct work with children to accurately identify and address their needs
• Maintain comprehensive records and reports, upholding high standards of documentation in line with legislative requirements

As a dedicated Social Worker in the Assessment and Intervention Team, you will be instrumental in bringing about positive change and improved outcomes for children and families. You will need to be a car driver, capable of travelling around the county to meet role requirements, and you must demonstrate at least three years of post-qualified experience in direct local authority children's social care within England.
