What you will do:

• Respond effectively to referrals from the public, professionals, or the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), ensuring prioritisation of each case based on its urgency.
• Conduct thorough Section 17 (Child in Need) and Section 47 (Child Protection) assessments, safeguarding children and providing essential services to families in need.
• Make critical threshold decisions and manage risks effectively to ensure children's safety and wellbeing.
• Collaborate closely with families and a network of multi-agency professionals to gather valuable insights and information that inform your assessments and decisions.
• Swiftly initiate necessary safeguarding interventions to protect children at risk and ensure their immediate safety.
• Conduct seamless case handovers to long-term teams after comprehensive initial assessments to ensure continuity of care and support for children and families.
