What you will do:

• Perform assessments in accordance with the Children Act 1989, such as those under Section 17 and Section 47, to safeguard and support children effectively
• Develop, implement, and review child protection plans, child in need plans, and plans for looked-after children
• Engage directly with children and families to foster positive outcomes and improvements
• Collaborate with schools, police departments, health services, and other agencies to ensure comprehensive support is provided
• Prepare detailed reports for court proceedings and attend legal hearings when needed
• Maintain precise and timely records in compliance with statutory requirements, ensuring the highest standard of practice
