Occupational Therapist (Social Services) - Paediatric Team - Ipswich (UK) - £32 Hourly. ASAP Start – Ongoing. Full Time – part time will be considered.

What you will do:

  • Conduct assessments for children and young people with substantial needs, offering insights and solutions for both minor and major adaptations.
  • Recommend and provide essential equipment such as profiling beds, shower chairs, and hoists, ensuring each child’s comfort and safety.
  • Deliver expert moving and handling advice, ranging from low-level to complex cases, including hoisting and sling assessments.
  • Enhance your knowledge of neurodiverse conditions and behaviour management, providing insightful recommendations to address safety concerns linked to behaviour.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to tailor interventions that promote independence and well-being.


Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant specialism.
  • Must hold current registration with the HCPC.
  • A valid driver’s licence is preferable due to the requirement to travel between sites.
