What you will do:
- Screen and review residents placed in out-of-borough settings to assess where Section 117 responsibility may lie.
- Facilitate the transfer of care by liaising with relevant boroughs when residents are identified for a move.
- Support the front door with researching incoming Section 117 cases, contributing to informed decision-making processes.
- Engage with legal teams when required, ensuring all procedures are compliant with the Mental Health Act 1983.
- Employ your strong interpersonal skills to navigate challenging conversations and foster positive professional relationships.
