Graduate Science Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4 in science lessons (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
• Assisting teachers in preparing and delivering engaging science content
• Providing 1:1 or small group academic support to pupils needing extra help
• Encouraging student participation and building confidence in science
• Supporting practical experiments and ensuring health and safety protocols
• Helping manage behaviour and maintain a focused learning environment
• Assisting with progress tracking and targeted learning interventions
• Getting involved in extra-curricular STEM clubs or science fairs where possible

Graduate Science Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:

• A 2:1 degree or above in a science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related)
• A strong interest in education and inspiring young people
• Previous experience working or volunteering with young people is advantageous
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, proactive, and supportive attitude
• A desire to pursue a career in teaching, education, or science outreach
