Role Overview:

An excellent opportunity for a qualified Social Worker to join the Family Help service in Redbridge. This locum role offers the chance to work with dynamic teams, support diverse families, and make a tangible impact in a vibrant and well-connected London borough.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine the needs and risks faced by children and families.

• Develop, implement, and review effective care and support plans in collaboration with children, families, and professionals.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions aimed at improving outcomes for children and their carers.

• Signpost and connect families to appropriate community resources and support services.

• Work in partnership with local agencies, including schools and health services, to ensure cohesive safeguarding practices and positive results.

Requirements:

• A recognised professional qualification in social work, with post-qualification diploma preferred.

• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC/Social Work England).

• A minimum of two years’ post-qualification experience working with children, families, and carers.

• Strong communication and multi-agency collaboration skills.
