What you will do:

  • Manage and coordinate the implementation of individual treatment plans for occupational therapy services ensuring treatments, activities, and interventions are effectively communicated and delivered.
  • Promptly receive and respond to referrals, undertaking patient assessments to identify and prioritise needs before planning and delivering appropriate interventions either individually or in a group setting.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records detailing each patient’s rehabilitation and progress.
  • Efficiently manage more junior staff, setting an example with your expertise and dedication.
  • Develop close working relationships with professional and clinical colleagues within the multi-disciplinary team, ensuring adherence to Priory policies and compliance with statutory regulations and quality standards.


To be successful, you will have at least 12 months of post-graduate experience and must be registered with the HCPC. Previous forensic experience is desirable. You will be working on a male mental illness ward, completing assessments and interventions following the occupational therapy pathway, all within a medium-secure forensic hospital setting.
