This role is part time and offers day-to-day flexibility, allowing you to work the days you wish in the schools you wish to work with. With no planning or marking responsibilities this job allows for an excellent work-life balance.

As a PE Teacher, your responsibilities will generally include:

• Mainly teaching Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) core PE, as well as GCSE lessons.
• Having a sound understanding of the national curriculum and a range of sports
• Creating a positive and inspiring learning environment that encourages student participation
• Maintaining excellent behaviour management both inside and outside of the classroom

Required Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
• Experience as an PE Teacher, Coach, Secondary Teacher, or within a Secondary School setting
• Sound understanding of the National Curriculum
• Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of a number of different sports (Netball, Football, Badminton, Basketball, Fitness, Tennis, Athletics, Cricket, Dance, Rugby, Hockey etc.)
• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive rapport with students
• A commitment to inspiring pupil progress through creative practical teaching

Working as a PE Teacher for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:

Location
This PE teacher position involves working with schools in and around the Black Country area which is easily accessible from Walsall, Sandwell, Wolverhampton, West Bromwich, Telford and Birmingham.
