Team Leader - Coast Early Intervention Team in Croydon: 30 pounds per hour, ongoing opportunity
We have a thrilling opportunity for an innovative Team Leader to join our Coast Early Intervention Team in Croydon, where you will earn 30 pounds hourly on a locum basis. This is an ongoing role, allowing you to bring your management skills to the forefront in an exciting and challenging environment. As a Team Leader, you will have overall management responsibility for the delivery of care within an Early Intervention in Psychosis model, ensuring that our high standards for evidence-based practice are met in line with Trust policies.

As a Team Leader, your primary purpose is to lead a team of professional and support staff in delivering high-quality care, while ensuring smooth operation and communication within the team and with other services. You'll work within budget constraints, manage and develop team members, and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and Trust policies.
What you will do:
- Oversee the delivery and coordination of care within the Early Intervention in Psychosis model.
- Manage staff practices, ensuring the latest evidence-based approaches are used.
- Supervise, appraise, and offer development opportunities for team members.
- Maintain excellent multidisciplinary communication, ensuring service quality and seamless care delivery.
- Ensure compliance with mental health legislation, including the Mental Health Act 1983 and Care Act 2014.
- Manage financial resources within allocated budgets and address cost pressures in collaboration with the service manager.
- Set and monitor clinical standards, ensuring the dignity and identity of service users are respected.
- Facilitate effective risk management and communication both within the team and externally.
