Join us for an exciting opportunity as a Band 6 Occupational Therapist in the Orthopaedics Team located in Derby UK. Immediate start available with an ongoing contract. Earn £25-£26 per hour, depending on experience. Both full-time and part-time applicants will be considered, giving you flexibility to fit the role around your lifestyle.

What you will do:
- Provide expert care for patients in the Trauma and Orthopaedics field, specializing in procedures, post-operative care, rehabilitation, and discharge for those who have undergone both elective and traumatic surgery.
- Understand and apply Discharge to Assess (D2A) pathways and adopt a strength-based approach to assess and meet the needs of patients transitioning from an acute hospital setting to their home or other care facilities.
- Utilize your knowledge in managing post-operative lower limb amputee care, assisting patients with occupational therapy processes, mobility, seating, rehabilitation, and effective discharge planning.
- Maintain efficient caseload management, collaborating closely with the Physiotherapy team to deliver integrated patient care and contribute to pathway decisions.
- Demonstrate your clinical experience and skill as an Occupational Therapist within the Trauma and Orthopaedic Speciality.
Requirements:
To be successful, candidates must be HCPC registered and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialised field. A driving license is preferable but not essential.
