Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting teaching and learning in EYFS, KS1, or KS2 based on your strengths
  • Providing one-to-one and small group support to help pupils meet learning targets
  • Assisting with lesson preparation, classroom activities, and general class support
  • Encouraging pupils' emotional, social, and academic growth
  • Helping to manage classroom behaviour in a positive, consistent manner
  • Supporting children with additional needs or learning difficulties as required
  • Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff

Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:

  • A 2:1 degree or higher in any subject (Education-related degrees are a bonus)
  • A passion for working with children and making a positive impact
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Ability to use initiative and work effectively as part of a team
  • Previous experience with children (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is advantageous
  • A desire to pursue a future career in primary teaching, SEN support, or education
