Salary: £36,413- £56,959

Location:  St Albans

Start date: September 2025

Are you working towards QTS or recently qualified and excited to begin your teaching career in a supportive, ambitious school? Do you hold at least a 2:1 degree in a Science subject and feel confident delivering engaging lessons across secondary levels?

We’re seeking a Science Teacher or Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a dedicated and welcoming secondary school in St Albans

 What We’re Looking For:

• A minimum 2:1 degree in a relevant Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Combined Science)
• QTS – completed or in progress
• Previous experience through placements, tutoring, mentoring, or teaching support
• A genuine enthusiasm for science and inspiring young minds
• A collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills

 Your Role:

• Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 with creativity and clarity
• Monitor student progress and offer clear, supportive feedback
• Take part in ongoing professional development (CPD) tailored to your career path
• Help shape and enrich our forward-thinking science curriculum
