Main Responsibilities

Manage a complex and varied caseload, including Public Law Outline (PLO) cases and adoption proceedings.

Undertake thorough assessments to evaluate risk and need, and design tailored care plans to support positive outcomes.

Work in partnership with a wide range of professionals, including police, healthcare teams, educational settings, and voluntary organisations, to deliver holistic support.

Promote the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of children and young people through proactive safeguarding and intervention strategies.
Essential Criteria

Social Work Degree and successful completion of the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE).

Registered with Social Work England.

Proven experience in working with children and families within a statutory social work setting.

Strong assessment, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to operate autonomously and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
