Senior Cs&a Technician in Birchwood

Our Client has a requirement for a Senior CS&A Technician, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Warrington

Role Purpose:

To provide high quality civil, structural, and architectural (CS&A) design services across the full project lifecycle. This role supports complex nuclear infrastructure projects and involves delivering detailed designs, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring BIM and CDM compliance within a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Job Role Responsibilities:

• Produce and deliver CS&A design work, inspection reports and site support for nuclear projects.
• Create detailed models and drawings using Autodesk tools (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks).
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure coordinated, integrated design solutions.
• Support the implementation of BIM processes across projects.
• Mentor and guide junior technicians and apprentices.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, CDM regulations and ISO documentation.
• Support tender inputs, business development, and contribute to lessons learned initiatives.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert in CS&A software and detailing practices.

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

Essential:

• HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience across the full design lifecycle.
• Proficient in CAD tools and BIM methodologies.
• Strong understanding of engineering and architectural drawing standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable:

• Membership of a relevant engineering or technical institute.
• Demonstrable experience in nuclear or highly regulated industries.
