What you will do:

- Manage and lead a team of social workers, supervising daily operations and ensuring timely completion of Form K assessments for kinship foster carers and those aspiring to be special guardians.
- Deliver top-notch support services to kinship carers, children, and families, ensuring their needs are consistently met.
- Collaborate with social work teams, carers, families, and multi-agency partners, enhancing support service accessibility and effectiveness.
- Oversee and ensure high standards in assessments, support plans, and reviews for carers and families, adhering to all statutory duties and fostering regulations.
- Efficiently manage team resources and budgets to enhance service delivery.
- Provide professional supervision and developmental guidance to social work staff, fostering their growth and development.
- Maintain stringent record-keeping, planning, and reporting practices in line with statutory expectations.
- Contribute actively to service development and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
