What you will do:
- Navigate and manage the day-to-day waiting lists and the reviewing function efficiently, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Provide comprehensive support, guidance, and effective supervision to your team, enhancing their capabilities and morale.
- Deliver expert knowledge in safeguarding, mental capacity assessments, best interests, deprivation of liberty, and the Care Act 2014, aiding in the delivery of best practice and successful outcomes.
- Offer support in deputising for the team manager as required, lending your leadership skills and authority as a prime example to your colleagues.
Candidate criteria:
- Must be a qualified Social Worker with at least 5 years post-qualifying experience.
- Possess knowledge and practical experience in safeguarding, mental capacity assessments, best interests, deprivation of liberty, and Care Act 2014 with a good foundation in legal literacy.
- Able to provide comprehensive and effective management skills and supervision to the team.
- Capable of managing the day-to-day waiting lists and reviewing function effectively.
- Provide robust support and guidance to the team and fulfil duty functions willingly.
- Ready to deputise for the team manager as required.
