What you will do:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and support Occupational Therapy staff, promoting best practice and professional development.
- Complex Case Oversight: Guide management of complex referrals and intervention plans to ensure the highest quality care.
- Referral Allocation: Triage and allocate new referrals based on urgency and team capacity to streamline operations.
- Policy & Procedure Implementation: Ensure team compliance with legislation and organisational protocols, keeping the service running smoothly and efficiently.
- Budget Management: Oversee budgets related to equipment, adaptations, and services, ensuring resources are efficiently and effectively used.
- Service Improvement: Contribute to service planning, development, and quality assurance for an ever-evolving service.
- Multi-agency Collaboration: Work closely with social workers, health professionals, and external agencies, fostering a collaborative approach to patient care.
