Registered Nurse - Outpatients and Pre-Assessment in Ashford UK £27000 Annually

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our vibrant team at a leading healthcare facility located in Ashford, Kent. What you will do:

  • Provide high-quality individualised patient care in the outpatient and pre-assessment departments
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during their visit or admission to the hospital
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to maintain compliance with hospital policies and national guidelines
  • Function autonomously, utilising your specialist skills in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
  • Support the Pre-assessment Sister and Outpatient Manager in implementing service protocols based on research and national standards


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registered Nurse with NMC registration
  • Experience in acute surgical care, ideally with previous exposure to pre-assessment clinics
  • Competence in phlebotomy, cannulation, ECGs, and intravenous antibiotics is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills and adept with computer systems like MS Office
