Role Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for Band 6 Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists to join the Intermediate Care Teams across Cambridgeshire. This role offers competitive hourly pay of £25.00 and the flexibility to work full-time or part-time, allowing you to balance professional and personal commitments. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, providing vital rehabilitation and therapy services that make a real difference in the lives of patients.
Key Responsibilities

Comprehensive Patient Assessment & Rehabilitation – Conduct thorough assessments of patients with complex and multiple conditions, using advanced clinical reasoning to develop individualised rehabilitation programmes that promote independence.

Caseload Management – Prioritise and manage a diverse patient caseload, ensuring the effective and timely delivery of therapy services across different pathways, including care at home and health interim beds.

Multidisciplinary Collaboration – Work as part of an integrated healthcare team, contributing to multidisciplinary meetings and case discussions to ensure holistic patient care.

Supervision & Development – Provide mentorship, guidance, and supervision to junior staff, non-registered personnel, and students, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Equipment Assessment & Provision – Assess, prescribe, and facilitate the use of appropriate rehabilitation equipment, ensuring safe and effective usage for patients and staff.
Essential Requirements

Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy.

HCPC registration (Health and Care Professions Council).

Experience working within Intermediate Care, Community Rehabilitation, or similar settings.

Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
