Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a MDT Crisis Response & Complex Needs Coordinator to work Full Time based in Guernsey.
The salary for this MDT Crisis Response & Complex Needs Coordinator job is up to £71,865 per annum.
Main duties:
- To work collaboratively with C&FCS Senior and Team Managers to prepare for, coordinate and attend crisis response meetings and support the allocated lead professional/Social Worker to implement the agreed MDT crisis response action plan.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among professionals from various disciplines to ensure a cohesive, person-centred & trauma informed approach, oversee & triage referrals to ensure they meet threshold.
- To provide robust oversight, direction, and guidance by setting clear goals expectations, within each multi-disciplinary meeting and foster a private person centred, child focused approach. Motivate and support MDT members in working together to achieve the best possible plan and outcome for the child/young person and avoid drift or delay.
- Advocate for children, young people & families by ensuring their needs and preferences are considered in the development and coordination of multi-agency needs, risk assessment and support/care plans.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders, community resources, and local organisations to enhance the Multi-Disciplinary Team’s effectiveness and broaden the scope of the children, young people & families care, and support provided.
- Promote improved communication, coordination, challenge, and accountability across the multi-agency partnership, within agency Quality Assurance processes, Safeguarding and GDPR policies and provide advice, guidance, and support as needed.
- To actively participate in supervision and appraisal using reflection and analysis to inform your practice and identify training needs as required by the registered Professional Body.
- To participate in staff and service development through attendance through attendance at service meetings and in-service training, including taking a lead and facilitating such events and presenting information as appropriate.
- To work with the professional lead on the training and development of identified staff and to staff and to ensure evidenced based practice is embedded in service delivery.
- To contribute towards the evaluation of the service through clinical and service audits, as well as supporting services in overseeing improvements required where identified.

Requirements of this MDT Crisis Response & Complex Needs Coordinator job:
- A social Work Qualification or equivalent.
- Understanding of relevant legislation.
- Registered or eligible for registration.
- Proven experience of working within and understanding of Children’s Safeguarding Policies and Procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Driving Licence and access to vehicle for work purposes.
