Key duties and responsibilities- Monitor Residents’ vital signs and conditions, maintaining high levels of clinical competence throughout the home. - Ensuring the appropriate individual care is given to residents, in accordance with their care plans. - Be responsible and accountable for the delivery of the highest standards of care possible to the residents. - Maintain accurate drug records and administer medication. - Report and document all accidents and provide professional nursing care in accordance with the RQIA requirements. - Maintain and update accurate individualized care plan for residents. - Working as part of a team and maintaining good communication with residents, visitors and colleagues. - Flexibility in shift pattern and undertake other duties as necessary and Assist in the supervision of staffs and ensure their adherence to the policies of the home. Qualification • Registered Nursing Qualification-RN• Other post Qualification Training attended in nursing. • Mandatory training courses • Other additional training attended relevant to the role.
