KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a Care Home Chef for our client based in Warrington.The hours and days as a Care Home Chef are: 5 out of 7 days per weekVaried start and finish times (average 8 hours per day) The rate of pay as a Care Home Chef is: £15.00 p/h Key Responsibilities as a Care Home Chef:Food Preparation & Service: Plan, prepare, cook, and present balanced, nutritious meals for residentsProduce breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks in accordance with service schedulesCater for special dietary requirements, including diabetic, vegetarian, vegan, allergy-sensitive, texture-modified, and therapeutic dietsEnsure meals are appealing, varied, and tailored to residents' preferences where possibleMonitor food quality and presentation standards at all times Compliance & Food Safety: Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene and cleanlinessEnsure compliance with Food Safety legislation, HACCP procedures, and Environmental Health requirementsCarry out and record daily temperature checks for food storage and cookingMaintain accurate kitchen records and documentationEnsure safe storage of food products and chemicalsFollow all company policies relating to health and safety, infection control, and safeguarding Essential Requirements needed as a Care Home Chef: Previous experience as a Chef, Cook, or Catering ProfessionalKnowledge of food hygiene regulations and food safety standardsExperience preparing meals for large groupsUnderstanding of nutritional requirements for older peopleAbility to cater for specialist dietary needs and allergiesExcellent organisational and time-management skillsAbility to work independently and under pressureEnhanced DBS If this role as a Care Home Chef is for you then APPLY NOW!INDHOS
