Civil Works SuperintendentTalacre, North Wales – site basedOutside IR353 years workA Civil Works Superintendent is required to work for a large Energy company working on the Liverpool Bay Hynet project, this role will be fully site based and will provide the flexibility to work outside IR35.As Civil Work Superintendent, you will report to the Construction site manager. You will be part of our Liverpool Bay Project (Decommissioning & Carbon Capture and Storage). You will lead 1-2 civil supervisor and collaborators and ensure that subcontractors achieve the working tasks in accordance with the deadlines and QHSE procedures.How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities: As the Civil Works Superintendent, you will promote safe works practices and environmental protection, ensuring that safety standards are respectedMonitor the works performed, subcontracted or in direct hiring to reach the fulfillment of the project quality and contractual requirementsAs the Civil Works Superintendent, you will set-up time schedule adhering to the time frame allocated to the project and coordinate human and technical resourcesArrange for the correct and cost-effective performance of civil construction works, in accordance with the established operating programs, coordinating and controlling the activities performed with the supervisors under your scopeAs the Civil Works Superintendent, you will build reports with information regarding the progress of the work indicating any cause of deviation and propose solutions and/or request instructionsControl production parameters in terms of efficiency and productivity to ensure proper discipline workflow, interfacing with all the project organizationAs the Civil Works Superintendent, you will support the resolution of civil technical problems encountered during the execution of the worksManage technical and administrative documentationAs the Civil Works Superintendent, you will ensure the achievement of the MC certificate according to priority and systemization done by commissioning, being responsible for certification and punch list clearance What are we looking for? Experience: 15-20 years with civil work activities as subcontractor site manager or similar supervising roles for construction sites/projectsEducation: relevant diplomaTechnical skills: Dewatering; Piling; Civil work supervision; team leading
