Agricultural Service Technician Salary: Up to £36,000 Base, 40K OTE | Day Shifts | Permanent / Company vehicleWe are seeking a skilled Agricultural / plant engineer to join our growing engineering team, covering customer sites across the Teeside Area.This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong Agricultural/plant background, particularly within environments such as farming, ground equipment or similar sectors.The role will require you to travel to customer sites accross the Teeside area as well as workshop site based carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on highly technical agricultural machinery. This is a permanent opportunity working a 4 on 4 off days shift pattern, although candidates must be flexible and willing to cover night shifts when required by the business.The successful Class 1 Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of hazardous materials using tanker vehicles. Due to the nature of the operation, previous tanker driving experience and strong Dangerous Goods / ADR knowledge are essential.You will be responsible for carrying out all deliveries safely and in accordance with ADR regulations, company procedures and current transport legislation. Requirements for the Class 1 Driver: Strong understanding of UK driving regulations and Working Time Directive requirements.Good understanding of vehicle and load safety.Ability to complete transport documentation accurately.Strong awareness of health and safety when transporting hazardous materials.Reliable and professional approach to work.Good communication skills when dealing with customers and colleagues. Desirable Requirements for the Class 1 Driver: Additional ADR classes beyond Classes 8 and 9.Previous experience transporting chemicals or other hazardous materials.Experience working within chemical, waste, industrial or environmental services.
