Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company in their search for a Quality Inspector to work in their leading facility in Shrewsbury.For the successful Quality Inspector, our client is offering: Up to £14.50 per hour DOEMonday to Friday - 7.30 am to 3:45 pmPermanent positionProductivity Bonus22 days paid Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays and Xmas Shutdown (2 weeks)Overtime opportunitiesContributory Pension Scheme The Role - Quality Inspector Responsible for the inspection of manufactured and brought in products confirming compliance with specification and quality requirementsAdherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operating procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and QualityEnsuring products are to the correct tolerances meeting quality standards and specifications.Carry out internal process and product audits.Raising of NCR’s and assisting with corrective actions. The ability to take a methodical and systematic approach to your work.Update and maintain inspection documents, forms, logs, conformance certificates and other records.Approving or rejecting raw materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance.Utilising measuring tools and equipment to ensure products meet the required specifications.Any other tasks deemed a part of your role by Management.
