Job Purpose We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Remedial Plumber to deliver high-quality plumbing and water hygiene remedial works. This role is primarily site-based and involves carrying out repairs, upgrades, and system improvements in line with industry standards and compliance requirements.  Key Responsibilities • Carry out plumbing remedial works including pipework modifications, valve replacements, and system upgrades• Diagnose faults, leaks, and non-compliant installations, providing effective solutions• Assist with and carry out tank cleaning, disinfection, and system flushing works• Ensure correct application of control measures and disinfection procedures• Work from risk assessments, method statements, and site instructions• Complete works safely, efficiently, and to a high standard• Maintain accurate service records, reports, and certificates• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and other site personnel• Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and industry standards  Personal Attributes • Practical, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail• Safety-focused and detail-oriented• Professional and client-focused• Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team  Skills & Experience Essential • Proven experience in remedial plumbing and maintenance works• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability• Experience working on-site, including plant rooms and confined spaces• Good understanding of water systems and general plumbing compliance• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively• Full UK driving licence Desirable: • Experience in water hygiene or Legionella control• Knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274, and relevant British Standards• Experience with tank cleaning and disinfection  Qualifications • NVQ Plumbing Level 2 / 3 (or equivalent)• G3 Unvented (preferred)• Clean & Disinfection Hot & Cold Water Systems (preferred)• Confined Space Awareness (preferred)  What We Offer • Competitive salary• Company vehicle provided• Overnight incentive / allowance for works requiring overnight stays• 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 day per year of service (up to a maximum of 25 days)• Your birthday off (paid)• Ongoing work and development opportunities• Supportive and growing team environment
