This is an exciting opportunity to work within a highly regulated, safety-critical environment supporting both new product introduction (NPI) and legacy design improvements.This role is ideal for a detail-oriented CAD professional with strong CATIA V5 experience, looking to contribute to innovative aerospace projects while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities Create and develop detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and 2D technical drawings using CATIA V5Support design and development activities for aerospace products and systemsManage and implement Document Change Notes (DCNs), including updates to legacy designsWork closely with Design Engineers to ensure CAD outputs meet technical specifications and programme requirementsProduce fully detailed drawings compliant with aerospace standards, company procedures, and configuration control requirementsParticipate in design reviews and respond to engineering change requestsResolve CAD-related issues and provide technical support to internal stakeholdersCollaborate with manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturableEnsure all drawings and models are correctly released through document control systemsMaintain high levels of accuracy, quality, and data integrity while meeting project deadlines About You Strong experience using CATIA V5 (Part Design, Assembly Design, Drafting)Proven background producing 2D and 3D CAD designs within a regulated environmentSolid understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and controlled design processesHigh attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within engineering teams Desirable Experience Experience managing engineering changes / DCNsBackground working with metallic componentsExposure to rubber mouldings or vacuum forming processesExperience supporting NPI programmes from concept through to productionPrevious experience within aerospace, aviation, or similar highly regulated industries What’s on Offer Flexible working pattern with every other Friday offOpportunity to work on cutting-edge aerospace projectsCollaborative and professional engineering environment INDSO
