     Civils & Piling Superintendent Location: Padeswood, UK Overview We are seeking a hi...      Civils & Piling Superintendent Location: Padeswood, UK Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civils & Piling Superintendent to join an onshore construction team on a major UK project.This role involves working within a live operational petrochemical environment, supporting civil and structural construction activities and subcontractor supervision. ⚠️ Requirement: Valid CSCS card required (Gold Level preferred) Key Responsibilities Supervise and manage civil and structural subcontractors as part of the site construction management teamWork within a live operational petrochemical/process plant environmentReport on subcontractor performance (weekly reports and daily coordination meetings)Promote and enforce strong safety culture across civil subcontractorsCoordinate civil and structural works with other disciplinesMonitor contractor performance against project specificationsResolve technical queries and support engineering coordinationEnforce project quality standards across all civil worksConduct regular safety audits and ensure compliance with safe systems of workReview method statements and risk assessments and ensure site complianceMonitor contractor manpower and resources to meet project targetsTrack progress against programme and support recovery planning where requiredAssist planning team with sequencing and programme updatesSupport cost monitoring and assessment of additional worksOversee project documentation, completion, and handover requirementsEstablish inspection, monitoring, and hold point systems Required Experience & Qualifications Proven experience in civil and structural construction supervisionExperience working on live petrochemical or process plant sites Technical Experience Required Piling worksStructural steelworkRebar detailing, caging, and formworkUnderground drainage systemsRoad construction Qualifications (Typical / Desirable) CITB / CTA / City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent)Valid safety and first aid certificationsECITB Temporary Works (advantageous)SAF18 qualification (desirable)
