This is a floor-led leadership role — you’ll be visible, involved and driving the operation across hospitality, food & beverage, retail and wider venue operations. You’ll set the standards, shape the culture, develop the team and ensure every aspect of the operation delivers an exceptional customer experience while achieving strong commercial results.What You’ll Do Take full ownership of the day-to-day venue operation, overseeing hospitality, food & beverage, retail and wider operational activity.Lead from the front, setting high standards across service, customer experience and team performance.Build, coach and inspire a high-performing team, creating a positive and engaging working culture.Drive commercial performance across the venue, with responsibility for revenue, budgets, P&L, labour and cost control.Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, enhance the customer experience and maximise revenue.Work closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders to deliver business objectives and support the continued growth of the venue. What You’ll Bring Strong experience in hospitality, food & beverage, retail, events or multi-faceted venue operations.Proven experience in a General Manager or senior operational leadership role within a busy, high-volume environment.A natural, hands-on leader who thrives on the floor and enjoys being visible within the operation.Strong commercial awareness, with a good understanding of financial performance, labour management and cost control.Excellent people management skills, with the ability to motivate, develop and lead diverse teams.A genuine passion for hospitality, customer experience and exceptional service standards. Following a £1.2m refurbishment, the business offers a fresh environment, with further opportunities to build on its success.You will lead a team of around 45 people working across the three sites, with a focus on creating a consistent guest experience, developing your people and driving commercial performance.This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, supporting their team and getting involved in the day-to-day operation.What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a General Manager within a quality gastro pub, destination pub or small boutique hotel.A strong understanding of food-led hospitality, with a genuine passion for food and drink.The commercial awareness to manage a multi-site operation with a turnover of around £5m.A hands-on leadership style, with the ability to motivate, develop and support a team of 45.The personality and ambition to bring fresh ideas, take ownership and influence the future direction of the business.A track record of driving standards, improving performance and delivering memorable guest experiences. We’re particularly keen to hear from candidates with a strong gastro pub background. This is a food-led operation, so a solid understanding of quality food, drink and service is essential.What’s on Offer?
