These roles are ideal for graduates who want to understand what it takes to become a successful teacher before progressing into teacher training.Whether you studied English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, History, Geography, Religious Studies or another Humanities subject, you will have the opportunity to use your subject knowledge to support students across KS3 and KS4 while learning directly from experienced teachers.Your Pathway Into Teaching This is much more than a traditional Teaching Assistant position. You will become part of the school's teaching and learning environment, developing your confidence, classroom management and understanding of effective teaching.Throughout the academic year, you will gain experience supporting lessons, delivering small-group interventions and working with students individually. You'll also have the opportunity to observe experienced teachers and develop a realistic understanding of life in the classroom.For graduates who perform well and demonstrate the right commitment, the experience can provide a strong foundation for teacher training in September 2027 and ultimately a career as a qualified teacher.We’re Looking For We are looking for graduates with a 2:1 degree or above in English, Maths, Science or Humanities, although strong 2:2 graduates with relevant experience may also be considered. You should have strong GCSE and A-Level results, excellent communication skills and, most importantly, a genuine desire to work with young people and become a teacher.You must also have the right to work in the UK.
