Regular feedback and opportunities for professional development ensure you are always at the top of your game.What you will do:- Interpret complex assessment reports to draft clear and concise EHC plans.- Ensure plans adhere to statutory timelines and legal standards.- Identify discrepancies in assessment advice and collaborate with SEN Advisory Officers to fill gaps.- Manage records efficiently by using the SEN database and ensure compliance with all data protection regulations.- Facilitate communication among parents, educators, and health professionals to update them on the EHC plan progress.- Incorporate and calculate personal budgets within the EHC plan, collaborating with respective managers.- Engage proactively with families and educational professionals through various communication modes.- Prepare for mediation and tribunal appeals by providing detailed information on complex cases.Requirements:Ideal candidates are adept at producing complex yet easily understandable documents and have significant ICT skills, especially in database and word processing systems. Experience in educational settings and a firm grasp of special educational needs and disabilities is crucial.
