KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a Production Operative for our client based in Crewe.Days and hours as a Production Operative are: 07:30- 16:30Varied working days The rate of pay as a Production Operative is: £12.71p/h Key Responsibilities as a Production Operative Spooling, measuring, and cutting steel wire rope from master reels to specified customer lengths.Fitting a variety of end terminations to rope ends using different methods, including hydraulic presses and resin-based systems.Supplying and preparing all relevant accessories required for customer orders.Labelling, packaging, and preparing goods for safe and secure dispatch.Ensuring environmental procedures and company policies are followed at all times, reporting any concerns or issues to management when necessary.Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.Assisting with general production and warehouse duties as required.Adhering to all health and safety procedures and safe systems of work. Skills & Experience Required as a Production Operative Essential as a Production Operative Ability to work effectively as part of a small team.Good attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to follow instructions and work to production schedules.Comfortable using hand tools and production equipment.Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.Willingness to undertake heavy lifting and repetitive manual work.
