Red Recruit Global Ltd Freight & Shipping Specialists Vacancy 58685 - Trade Compliance Co-ordinator Job Title: Trade Compliance Co-ordinator Location: Heathrow Area Position: Permanent, Full Time Start Date: ASAP Salary: £28,500 per annum (depending on experience) About the Role: Due to continued global growth, our client is seeking a Trade Compliance Co-ordinator to join their team within the Heathrow area.This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established international freight forwarding and logistics organisation with strong family values and a long-standing reputation within the industry.The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating Trade Compliance, CITES and Customs activities on behalf of a key account client, ensuring all import and export operations are completed accurately and in line with UK & EU regulations. Main Responsibilities: Complete product libraries in a compliant and timely manner Ensure all Trade Compliance reports and KPIs are completed accurately and within deadlinesDetermine correct tariff classifications for supported brands moving from the EUIssue UK-specific import guidance to the businessLiaise with HMRC and assist with maintenance of customs proceduresComplete Import, Export, Transit, ICS and ENS declarations in line with regulationsAudit and monitor entries to ensure compliance with import/export legislationComplete CITES applications and ensure all trackers are up to dateArrange DHL bookings for CITES permits and complete all relevant checksSubmit CITES Importer Notifications within required timeframesMaintain accurate documentation and ensure all records are uploaded to SharePoint systemsComplete billing, invoicing and invoicing trackers accurately and on timeCreate and maintain written procedures and SOPsSupport internal projects where Trade Compliance expertise is requiredProvide holiday and sickness cover where necessaryMaintain excellent relationships with customers and internal departments Skills & Experience Required: 3-5 years' experience within customs or trade compliance in a large organisation or brokerage environment In-depth understanding of UK & EU customs regulations and documentationKnowledge of CITES import/export permits (desirable)Strong understanding of commodity codes, incoterms, valuation and preferenceIntermediate to strong Excel skillsExcellent communication skills across all levelsStrong organisational skills with high attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProactive, deadline-driven and comfortable in a busy environment Company Benefits: 20 days annual leave plus Public Holidays Yearly pension reviewEmployee Assistance Programme (including immediate family members)Employee discounts platform (groceries, holidays, wellness, sports and more)Death in Service (3x salary) after 6 monthsPrivate Medical Scheme eligibility after 1 yearEnhanced pension contributions (9%) after 1 yearIndependent Financial Advice - free annual pension and investment reviewHoliday loyalty days (up to 5 additional days) How to apply: If you have relevant experience, please get in touch today.
