Job Title: Youth Justice Practitioner – 3 Month Block Booking – £22.22 Per Hour (Umbrella)

An opportunity has arisen to join Bradford Metropolitan District Council as a Youth Justice Practitioner for a 3-month block booking. The role is based at Sir Henry Mitchell House (BD5 0QL) in Bradford and offers a competitive pay rate of £22.22 per hour (Umbrella).

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 18:00.

Candidates with experience in youth justice, early help, and prevention services are encouraged to apply. To be considered for this position, a current CV and a copy/photo of a valid DBS certificate will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess the needs of young people referred to the Youth Justice Service.

• Develop and implement tailored intervention plans aimed at preventing offending and re-offending.

• Work collaboratively with families, schools, and partner agencies to ensure a holistic approach to support.

• Prepare reports for court proceedings and effectively manage caseloads.

• Provide guidance and positive role modelling to young people.

• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practice standards.
